My Journey

My Successfully Ongoing Ventures

Ventures on Pause

So, the 10 year journey

The journey of the last 10 years made me who I am today - a creative, result-driven, marketing professional.

Marketing is not just what I do, it’s what I live and breathe. I dream in campaigns, strategize in my sleep, and wake up ready to turn ideas into impact.

the 10 year journey

Salesman to Agency Owner
Text.com to Lead Bangladesh Ltd

I started my for-profit entrepreneurial journey by establishing Text.com in 2014, where I sold SMS marketing, created social media pages, and ran paid advertisements. Then, in 2015, along with my fellow co-founders, I launched Lead Bangladesh Ltd., a full-service marketing and tech company. We started Lead Bangladesh Ltd. with just one lakh BDT, borrowed from a friend of mine, and have since grown it into a thriving business.

Venture of Pause

My journey in the nonprofit world began in 2012 when my co-founder and I established a social organization called Shining Youth Club. We ran it successfully for two years, but eventually, we decided to pursue different paths, leading to the organization's closure. This was my first failure, as I had to bring the organization to an end. In 2015, I co-founded Team Chittagong, a youth organization that is working relentlessly to upskill youth and empower people sustainably. Over the years, we have trained more than 500 young individuals, all of whom have successfully entered the job market, with some now holding top positions in their respective companies.

Another Could-Be Failure

In 2020, we started an e-commerce venture called Lead Life Limited. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we received a great response initially, but later, we fell into the trap of investment challenges and had to put it on pause. This was another failed attempt, but I still have hopes of reviving it in near future.

My Ed-Tech Failure

I launched an ed-tech platform called The Trainer, creating videos with some prominent teachers on specific subjects. However, at that time, I couldn’t allocate enough focus and attention to the venture. As a result, I ultimately had to stop it. One of the most remarkable lessons I learned from this experience is the importance of thinking carefully before committing my focus. Wise allocation of time is important to achieve the best result.

Officially Global: Lead Marketing Inc.

From the very beginning, we worked with global clients under the name Lead Bangladesh Ltd., operating with RJSC registration from Bangladesh. In 2023, I took a significant step forward and registered our company in Canada as Lead Marketing Inc. Since then, we have been proudly serving clients across North America, the EU, and Dubai from our Canadian base.

My Other Failed Ventures

The journey was not only filled with success. In the way of the last 10 years, I also started a rent-a-car company named Deshi Ride, which is no longer operational, and a design agency for small startups named, Designers' Clan, which is also not in function now. While I have faced failures in running some ventures, I have learned invaluable lessons from those experiences. These lessons have shaped me into the person I am today.
